620 visitors in the first month: what a Jerusalem renovation contractor's website did
Published September 25, 2026
Does a website actually bring in customers, or is it just another expense nobody visits? Instead of explaining it in theory, here are the real numbers from the first month of a website I built for a renovation contractor in Jerusalem.
What happened in the first month
The site went live at the end of August 2026. In its first 32 days it had 620 visitors, and 382 of them came from Google search.
Only have Instagram? Instagram vs. a websiteWhat I did to make it happen
There's no trick here. The site loads fast (a 99-100 score on Google's speed test), it's built for mobile first, and the text clearly explains what the business does and where. I added structured data that helps Google understand it's a local business, submitted the sitemap to Google Search Console, and added a WhatsApp button that opens a chat in one tap. But every field and every city is different, and there's no way to guarantee results like these in advance.
Website design for renovation contractors: what it needsHow long does it take for a new website to start showing up on Google?
It varies. On this site, traffic from Google started within a few weeks, but in more competitive fields it can take longer. Nobody can promise an exact timeline.
